CWO’s Healthy Adventures (3-12 years of age)

    Our Community Wellness and Outreach (CWO) team is excited to be accepting new (first-time) families to join our VIRTUAL – Healthy Adventure Program, for children 3-12 years old.
    Dates: April 12 – 16th, 2021 (Daily)
    Time: 11:00 am-12:30 pm
    Come learn and share about various health and nutrition topics, with physical activity included, each day.
    Child participants will earn a FREE T-shirt!
    Parents, with children who participate at least 4 out of 5 sessions, will receive a (1) gift card in appreciation.
    Raffles! We will also have raffles each day, which include: board games, outdoor activity supplies, water bottles, fitness watches, and more.

    Traditional Path to Wellness for Spanish Speakers: Tradicional Camino al Bienestar

    Counseling Prevention Services is excited to offer its first Traditional Path to Wellness series, for Spanish speakers, Tradicional Camino al Bienestar.

    Nos gustaría invitarlo a nuestra primera serie de talleres virtuales en español para el programa Tradicional Camino al Bienestar: 7, 14, 21 y 28 de abril, 5:30-7:30 PM | PST.

    Deseamos celebrar esta serie virtual compartiendo enseñanzas indígenas transnacionales / intercontinentales sobre la importancia de honrar su resiliencia a través del conocimiento y la sabiduría tradicionales de México.

    Invitando: Familias con descendientes indígenas de México, Centroamérica y Sudamérica.

    CWO Produce Mobile – Food Distribution (1st and 3rd Wed., Monthly)

    Community Wellness and Outreach (CWO) hosts a walk-up distribution of of pre-boxed produce and USDA products every 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month. Social distancing and masks will be required for everyone’s safety. All are welcome!

    Past Event: Youth Workforce Development 2021 (March 4 – April 1, 2020)

    Indian Health Center of Santa Clara Valley’s virtual Youth Workforce Development for American Indian/Alaskan Native youth ages 14-17, is currently under way! At Youth Workforce Development, hosted by Counseling Prevention Services, youth will be participating in engaging workshops that will help prepare them for the workforce and learn leadership skills to support their professional growth.

    Benefits include:

    • Stipends for completion of program
    • Delivered weekly meals for those in Santa Clara County
    • Gift cards/raffles
