Please mark your calendars with these events in the 4th annual Affordable Housing Week May 12-20th 2007. The events are mostly free and all are open to the public. 

Affordable Housing Week (May 12 - May 20) is the result of a broad coalition of non-profits and individuals working together to advocate for practical solutions to the issues of housing and homelessness in Santa Clara County.  Our scope covers the full range of housing issues in our Valley from homelessness to first-time home ownership.

The week includes more than 8 events and home ownership workshops. This is the fourth year of Affordable Housing Week and each year it has attracted considerable press coverage as well as attention from elected officials and key decision makers. Over 800 people actively participated in the events in 2006.

Key events for 2007 include a tour of affordable housing developments in Palo Alto, Project Homeless Connect, a series of home ownership workshops, a policy seminar on ending homelessness and solving the affordable housing crisis, and an affordable housing fair at Washington United Youth Center.
